There is nothing that effects our health more than what we consume and the air we breathe. Our diet is critical to the level of energy we have and our overall moods. Our diet is also responsible for many health conditions we could face such as obesity, heart disease, diabetes and liver malfunctions.

In addition, just as important is the air we breathe. Polluted air can cause short term effects such as upper respiratory infections, and irritated eyes, nose, and throat. The long term health effects of breathing unclean air can be lung cancer, and damage to the brain, liver and kidneys.

A honeywell air purifier can give us back the air quality that we require. Modern homes today are built to a standard that makes them practically air tight. So the air inside becomes stale and remains constantly inside the home, never being refreshed. If you use a good air purifier it can replace that stale contaminated air with clean fresh air.

Most air purifiers today use a filter, or combination of filters. Honeywell air purifiers generally use the HEPA filters ( high efficiency particulate air), these filters can capture up to 99.9% of harmful air particles. As the unclean air is sucked into the purifier the filter traps these contaminates and clean air comes back through the machine. For the filter to work the unclean air must pass directly through the filter.

If the air purifier is working in a large area or different rooms need to be cleaned, more than one purifier will be necessary. The air does not become clean unless it can pass through the filter.

A different type of air purifier is known as an ionized machine. This works under a different principle than the hepa filters. Ionized particles are sent into the air, contaminants, dust, hair etc. attach to the ionized particles and drop to the floor. To be swept or vacuumed up.An ionized purifier can cleanse a larger area, faster. The filter does not need to be cleaned or changed as often.

People tend to opt for the hepa filter type because it is a cheaper option. The machine and filters are not particularly expensive. Ionized technology is more expensive up front, but is cheaper to run and does not require as many filter changes. It’s generally down to personal preference as to which machine you go for, however, choosing a machine will be a great investment in your future health.
